The Palladium Bullion Melt Value Calculator can figure the total palladium value of a
palladium coin, round, or bar; or a combination of different types and quantities of palladium
items. The palladium value is computed based on the total weight of palladium content. The
palladium calculator only shows what the palladium metal is worth (intrinsic value), but not any
numismatic (collector) value of your palladium bullion.
Use the palladium calculator to see how much your palladium bullion is worth, or to figure what
you'd be willing to pay based on the spot price for an ounce of palladium.

How to use the Palladium Melt Value Calculator.
Enter the total amount of coins, rounds, bars or ingots for each palladium item, based on
its actual palladium weight. Enter your numbers in the text boxes located directly to the
right of that item's corresponding unit of weight. As an alternative, you can simply
click on that row's palladium weight image, or its link, to increment the value of its
text box by 1. The calculator will automatically update the Total Palladium Value
(in red), whenever the number of palladium items has been changed.
The Total Palladium Value is determined based on the U.S. Dollar amount visible in the
Palladium Price text box. You could also use one of the other major world currencies
available in the drop-down menu located underneath the prices. The default price is updated
frequently during normal trading hours. You may adjust the Palladium Price to reflect the
amount you would wish to pay per ounce for the palladium contained in any quantity of
palladium items. This can help you in finding the maximum bid you might post for an online
palladium bullion auction.
In addition to the Total Palladium Value (in red), the palladium calculator will also compute
a Bid and Ask price based on the value shown in the Price Spread text box. This value defaults
to 5%, but can be changed if you wish. The palladium Bid and Ask prices are displayed in the
lower area of the palladium results box, for those who would like to use them.
If your palladium item is alloyed with another metal, you can use the Bullion Purity text box
to adjust accordingly. Simply enter the item's percentage of pure palladium by weight, and
all resultant values will be multiplied by that percentage value.
The palladium calculator indicates total palladium value and total palladium weight determined
from the amount of palladium contained in items that have no wear from being handled. A
palladium coin or round, which does show some wear, may not include as much palladium. You have
the option to give a percentage of that wear in the "Amount of Wear" text box. A
measure greater than the default value of 0 (zero), will decrease the total palladium value and
total palladium weight results proportionally.
