The Canadian Gold Coin Melt Value Calculator can determine the total gold value and
total gold weight of a single Canadian gold bullion coin, fractional Canadian gold
bullion coin, or a variety of many different types and quantities of Canadian gold
bullion coins. The Canadian gold coin calculator will only figure what the gold in
your coins is worth (intrinsic value), and will not indicate any numismatic
(collector) value.
Use the Canadian gold coin calculator to figure how much the gold in your Maple Leafs,
or similar bullion coins is worth, or to set a bid on a Canadian gold coin auction.

How to use the Canadian Gold Coin Melt Value Calculator.
Enter the total quantity of coins for each type of Canadian gold bullion coin in the
entire coin lot. Enter your numbers in the corresponding text boxes to the right of
each Canadian gold bullion coin description (blue link). You could also just click on
the coin's picture, or its link, to increase the value in its text box by 1. The
calculator will automatically update the Total Gold Value (in red), whenever
the number of Canadian gold bullion coins has been changed.
The Total Gold Value is measured based on the U.S. Dollar amount supplied in the
Gold Price text box. You could also select Canadian Dollars or one of the other
major world currencies available in the drop-down menu located underneath the prices.
The default price is updated frequently during normal trading hours. The Gold Price
can be adjusted to denote how much you'd be looking to pay per ounce for the gold
contained in any quantity of Canadian gold bullion coins. This can help you to find
the maximum bid you might furnish for an online Canadian gold bullion coin auction.
In addition to the Total Gold Value (in red), the Canadian gold coin calculator will
also figure a Bid and Ask price based on the amount displayed in the Price Spread text
box. This amount defaults to 5%, but can be changed if you like. The gold Bid and Ask
prices are shown in the lower section of the gold results box, for those who would like
to use them.
The Canadian gold coin calculator shows you total gold value and total gold content
determined from the amount of gold contained in Canadian gold bullion coins that
haven't any wear. A Canadian gold coin that has been frequently handled or rubbed
may not include as much gold. There is an option to submit a percentage of that wear in
the "Amount of Wear" text box. An entry greater than the default value of 0
(zero), will lower the total gold value and total gold weight results proportionally.
